Maxxis to Attend British Superbike Championship, Performance Car Show

Date: 4th August 2010 Author: Admin Comments: 0

Maxxis has announced it will support MSS Colchester Kawasaki in this year’s British Superbike Championship and attend the Ultimate Street Car show at the Santa Pod Raceway – both events are to take place this weekend (6-8 August).

Ultimate Street Car aims to be the “fastest, hottest, largest and loudest modified car festival in Europe”.  Demo vehicles from a variety of Drag Racing classes will be running throughout the weekend, including the 270mph Fireforce Jet Car, while the other main attractions include “Run What Ya Brung” track action with prizes for the fastest in each class, drift displays and rides, freestyle motocross demonstrations and huge club displays. Maxxis is affiliated with Max Power magazine, which is staging the Max Power Live Show hosted by DJ Richie Don. The magazine will also be organising competitions from the Maxxis hospitality unit.

Visitors to Brands Hatch will enjoy a triple header of British Superbike Championship round eight action.  As the teams prepare for the biggest event of the season Maxxis, which sponsors MSS Colchester Kawasaki, will be cheering on riders Gary Mason and Simon Andrews as they fight to make it into the top ten. Fans will get the chance to meet the riders during pit walks and see demonstration laps from World Superbike aces Leon Haslam and Slyvain Guintoli, along with air displays, live music and classic bike displays.

Maxxis will have its hospitality units at each event along with the ever-present Maxxis Babes, who will be chatting with fans, posing for photographs and handing out promotional materials.
