Hyster Brings Out the Big Tyres in Essen

Date: 1st June 2010 Author: Admin Comments: 0

A new Hyster H25.00XM-12 forklift truck fitted with an IMT TH3536 tyre handling attachment will be showcased on Elite Truck Bodies’ stand at Reifen 2010 in Essen. The idea, according to the company, is to demonstrate the most efficient way of handling and changing large tyres on vehicles operating in open-cast mining and construction applications.

The IMT TH3536 tyre handler range can lift and rotate (390°) tyres weighing up to 11,340 kilograms (25,000 pounds) and includes lateral shifting capability. When combined with the recently launched Hyster H25-32XM range of heavy duty lift trucks (25-32 tonne lift capacity), the company says it provides “unbeatable performance and efficiency for changing and handling large tyres.”  The IMT TH3536 attachment on the Hyster H25.00XM-12 on display can change tyres with rims between 18.00-25 to 57.5 / 85 x 57 with a weight of 11,000 kg at a 2100mm load centre.

“The new Hyster H25-32XM range is designed to offer a unique blend of high productivity, reliable proven components, fuel efficiency and outstanding driver comfort” explains Antoon Cooijmans, big trucks product manager for Hyster Europe. “They are versatile with excellent visibility and low operating costs”.
