HiQ Franchise Marketer Raises Cancer Research Funds

Date: 22nd June 2010 Author: Tyrepress Editors Comments: 0

The marketing manager at HiQ’s largest franchise has raised £500 from a 5K run completed with her sister for Cancer Research UK. Emma-Jane Kisby, marketing manager for Easy Autocentres, and her sister Claire Murray, completed the Sutton Park Race for Life, to the delight of their friends and family.

Kisby said: “It was a wonderful event, made even more special by competing with my sister Claire. To raise so much money for Cancer Research UK was great, and we’d both like to thank everyone who sponsored us and got behind us on the day.”

Kisby’s fundraising exploits are continuing after she donated £2,500 to Breast Cancer Care last year, on behalf of HiQ Erdington, and she hopes to raise even more for the cause when she officially opens the new HiQ Erdington centre in Bromford Lane in July, where a pound from every tyre sale will go to Breast Cancer Care.

She added: “Both charities are very close to our hearts and it is always nice to be able to contribute in whatever way we can. The money makes a huge difference to a great number of people, so we hope to carry out a lot more fundraising in the future.”
