Onkar Kanwar to Open Apollo Pavilion in Essen

Date: 25th May 2010 Author: Tyrepress Editors Comments: 0

On 1 June Apollo Tyres chairman Onkar S Kanwar will formally inaugurate the company’s Reifen 2010 show stand in the presence of dignitaries and the global management team from India, South Africa and Europe. The company’s stand opening ceremony follows a press event announcing details of the products Apollo will be introducing into Europe, and “the value of a multi-brand strategy with Apollo, Vredestein and Maloya.”

According to the company, Apollo Tyres is looking at Europe for the long term and is therefore looking to grow gradually, over time in this market. From its point of view, one of the factors to its advantage – following its purchase of Vredestein Banden a year ago – and when compared with newer brands being introduced into a saturated market, is the established and robust sales, service, office, personnel and logistics network that is already in place across Europe.
