Ed Wilson to Head Two Wheel at Michelin UK

Date: 26th April 2010 Author: Admin Comments: 0

Ed Wilson is set to take over as Michelin UK commercial director moto on 1 June, according to Bike Tyrestore’s latest customer newsletter. Wilson will take the reins from Olivier Gros who has reportedly moved onto “new challenges” and moves from a position with Michelin Fleet Solutions in the company’s truck tyre department.

Describing Gros as “widely respected” the newsletter pointed out that he has overseen “the resurgence of Michelin moto in the UK, and has been a pleasure to work with.” Perhaps suggesting that Gros has been promoted into a European level two-wheel role, BTS added “we are delighted to know that he will still be involved with us, from a different angle, in his new role.”
