Milestone For MAM

Date: 1st March 2010 Author: Tyrepress Editors Comments: 0

MAM Software Ltd has reported a marked increase in the use of its Autonet Online business-to-business (B2B) e-commerce solutions, with over 1500 end-user connections now active nationwide. Autonet Online is an off-the-shelf parts ordering portal that enables distributors and wholesalers to sell products online to their trade customers. It includes an electronic catalogue with VRM for easy parts identification, real-time pricing and availability, and a comprehensive account enquiry facility.

All orders placed through Autonet Online are immediately transferred back to the seller for processing. Incoming orders can be configured to appear in point-of-sale for verification or processed automatically to produce a picking note, invoice or backorder.

Autonet Online has been deployed by an increasing number of companies throughout the automotive aftermarket. Together, they now have over 1500 end-users – predominantly garages and workshops – actively trading using the system.

“To reach this milestone is a major achievement and an indication of the value that Autonet Online adds to both factors and their customers” said Mike Jamieson, MAM Software’s Managing Director. “Autonet Online empowers businesses to conduct transactions electronically and to become more efficient. It helps companies enhance their competitive nature by lowering personnel requirements and reducing transaction costs. Customer service is improved too, as 24-hour ordering and automated replies expand operational flexibility and increase responsiveness.”
