Bike Tyre Safety Month Campaign Materials Now Available

Date: 16th March 2010 Author: Tyrepress Editors Comments: 0

TyreSafe has made Bike Tyre Safety Month campaign materials freely available to motorcycle dealers, tyre retailers, specialist repairers and motorcycle accessory shops, enabling them to participate in April’s awareness-raising campaign. Bike Tyre Safety Month aims to highlight the importance of correct tyre care and maintenance at this critical time in the motorcycling season.

“During April many riders will take their bikes out on their first ride of the year,” explains Stuart Jackson, chairman, TyreSafe. “After several months of being stood still, it is vitally important that these riders have their tyres’ condition, pressure and tread depth checked properly to ensure they remain safe on the road. We hope that many dealers across the UK will once again support the campaign by displaying promotional materials and offering free tyre safety checks and advice for riders”.
