BFGoodrich Launches New Off-Road Race Rubber

Date: 4th February 2010 Author: Admin Comments: 0

Just ahead of the upcoming Griffin King of Hammers off-road race, Michelin North America unveiled a new 42” BFGoodrich off-road race tyre, reports Tire Review. BFGoodrich drivers competing in the 135-mile race in Johnson Valley, California will sport the new 39×13.50R17 Baja T/A KRT, designed specifically for rock racing.

“BFGoodrich Tires races King of the Hammers to prove the extreme capability of our tyres,” said Roberts Kukainis, BFG motorsports manager. “King of the Hammers has done a good job linking some brutal rock portions with punishing sections of desert. Racing in desert, rock racing and rock crawling allows us to develop ever-better tyres for all drivers who want the ability to go off-road with race-proven confidence.”
