Uniflate Gains Pirelli Driver Approval

Date: 7th January 2010 Author: Tyrepress Editors Comments: 0

The Pirelli Driver Centre scheme – a pan-European network of approved independent fast fit centres focussed on customer service and industry best practice – is now recommending the use of nitrogen tyre inflation from Uniflate.

Malcolm Russell, manager of the Pirelli Driver Centre programme commented: “The purpose of the Driver Centre scheme is to offer motorists a network of trusted independent fast-fit centres. Clearly, quality of service is a major focus for us, and being able to recommend trusted suppliers such as Uniflate allows us to offer the centres – and through them motorists – the best possible service.”

According to the company, drivers can save around £50 a year by using nitrogen inflation instead of conventional compressed air.

Uniflate and its parent company Tyre Bay Direct have been providing nitrogen inflation systems for 17 years, for both the high performance demands of Formula 1 and the consumer motoring market. They work with a growing number of fast-fit centres of all sizes across the country.
