Tyres & Accessories October 2009

Date: 27th October 2009 Author: Tyrepress Editors Comments: 0

October's Tyres & Accessories issue contains features on the online tyre business and wholesaling. Subscribers, click more to read the e-magazine online.

E-commerce: This year online tyre retailers have largely defied prevailing trends by recording much improved year-on-year sales. While the two leading internet only tyre businesses operating in the UK (Blackcircles.com and Delticom AG-owned mytyres.co.uk) still command the majority of the online market share, other sites such as kwik-fit.co.uk, national.co.uk and bestbuytyres.co.uk are also making an impression on the market. Next month Tyres & Accessories once again takes a look at this increasingly essential business tool.

Of Wholesale Importance: The importance of the tyre wholesale business cannot be underestimated, with the influence of some of the larger wholesalers even extending to design and development partnerships with manufacturers. October’s wholesaling feature explores the many facets of the tyre wholesaling business, both in the UK and internationally.
