Cooper Tire Europe Appoints New Export Sales Manager

Cooper Tire & Rubber Company Europe has appointed Tom Edwards as its new Export Sales Manager for North Africa, the Mediterranean and Scandinavia. Edwards, 29, moves into Cooper Tire’s sales department from the marketing sector in which he was, until earlier this month, European and EMEA Marketing Manager.

Edwards will continue to be based in Cooper Tire’s European headquarters in Melksham, Wiltshire. He took up his new position on Monday, 17 August. He has been given the new role in order to strengthen the Company’s growing network of distributors in Europe and North Africa, and will be responsible for distributors in these key markets.

“I’m very much looking forward to my new role within Cooper Tire,” said Edwards. “Export Sales will be a stimulating and highly challenging job and, with this being an exciting time to be working for Cooper Tire, I’m delighted to be moving into another key part of the business.” Edwards joined Cooper Tire & Rubber Company Europe in 2004 and has worked in various roles within the marketing department.
