Goodyear Dunlop Partners Bandvulc Group for Logistic Service

Date: 29th May 2009 Author: Tyrepress Editors Comments: 0

Patrick O’Connell Managing Director , Bandvulc Group, commented: “We are delighted to have been awarded this prestigious opportunity. It fits well within our logistics strategy, and we look forward to developing this business in the future.” Nigel Sowerby, Truck Director, Goodyear Dunlop added: “This partnership provides Goodyear Dunlop with a logistics operation tailored precisely to customer needs. Our own logistics operation is a very lean, fast and efficient operation for large orders, and the new partnership with Bandvulc Group aims to offer similar service standards to smaller fleets and dealers, who will now be able to access our acclaimed Max Technology tyres on very short lead times.” Earlier this year, Goodyear Dunlop announced that its Wolverhampton plant will be the primary logistics hub for UK and international customers ordering the latest acclaimed Goodyear TreadMax and Next Tread truck tyres. A company statement announcing the new cooperation highlighted the fact that this is a separate operation to the Bandvulc Group partnership, which is for the distribution of new Goodyear Max Technology and Dunlop tyres. Since investing in both the new Wolverhampton logistics operation and Bandvulc Group partnership, Goodyear Dunlop has also invested in dedicated Contact Centre Specialists and introduced Service Level Agreements for their customers.
