Kingpin and Fraser Evans Lose Responsible Recycler Status

Date: 6th August 2008 Author: Tyrepress Editors Comments: 0

Kingpin Tyres Limited has lost its accreditation under the Tyre Industry Federation’s Responsible Recycler Scheme. A statement issued by the Tyre Recovery Association explained that the accreditation has been rescinded effective 31 July 2008.

Kingpin Tyres’ membership of the Tyre Recovery Association has been similarly terminated. The news comes three months after Kingpin won the NTDA Tyre and Fast Fit Environment Award. The TRA also announced that Fraser Evans & Sons Limited has been suspended for a period of six months, effective immediately.
