Superior Industries International Inc., supplier of aluminium wheels and components for a number of leading car manufacturers, have announced the appointment of Ken Stakas to the new position of Vice President of Manufacturing.

Stakas, aged 55, joins the management of Superior after serving in the role of Vice President of Operations at Amcast Automotive since 2000. Prior to this he held a number of management positions of increasing responsibility in various companies. Stakas completed studies in Industrial Engineering/Manufacturing Management at Harper College, Illinois, in 1974.

President and CEO of Superior, Steven Borick, has been quoted as saying “Superior is fortunate to add a seasoned manufacturing executive of Ken’s caliber to our management team. Ken brings to the company more than twenty-five years of directly relevant experience in casting and machining operations with leading automotive suppliers.”
Mr Stakas will have full authority over Superior’s manufacturing operations in the United States and Mexico.
