The Name’s Martin – Aston Martin

Date: 14th March 2006 Author: Tyrepress Editors Comments: 0

The new James Bond movie, Casino Royale, is eagerly-awaited by fans keen to check out the stunts, the Bond girls and of course to see how Daniel Craig handles himself as the new James Bond. However, for a number in the audience, it will, once again be the hero’s choice of car that catches the eye. It’s an obsession that Richard Stewart Williams understands.

Richard just loves Aston Martins – in fact, there’s nothing he doesn’t know about them. He began work as an Aston Martin apprentice and for over thirty years has run his own highly successful company, Richard Stewart Williams Ltd in Cobham, Surrey, where his team service, sell and race the iconic cars.

He enjoyed success preparing a variety of Aston Martin models, including Project 212, and as Le Mans team manager including winning the World C2 Sports Car Champion in 1986.

Richard knows that his customers are absolutely precise about their cars, and expect high standards. He has no hesitation in choosing a Drester Wheelwasher from Beissbarth to restore the cars to showroom condition – right down to the wheels. He said: “We have been very pleased with the Drester Wheel Washer from Beissbarth. It has saved hours of work and is particularly good with wire wheels.”

The Drester Wheel Washers are easy to use and self-contained, keeping hands away from harmful brake dust. Their combination of plastic beads and water clean and polish to perfection in time cycles starting at just 30 seconds.

Beissbarth UK’s managing director Philip Hodges says “Aston Martin cars make heads turn. The Drester Wheel Washer is a quick and effective way of adding the final touch of glamour to an already stunning car.”
