Bridgestone Motorsport Launches New Consumer Website

Date: 17th March 2006 Author: Tyrepress Editors Comments: 0

Bridgestone Motorsport has launched a new Bridgestone Motorsport consumer website: www.bridgestonemotorsport.com aimed at bringing motorsport fans across the globe regular news and information about Bridgestone’s involvement in all of its major motor racing activities, namely the FIA Formula One World Championship, the GP2 Series, MotoGP, IRL, Champ Car World Series, Formula Nippon and SUPER GT.

Results and point standings for these championships will also be available, as well as results for a number of other racing activities such as the Indy Pro Series and karting championships.

In addition to regular news, features and interviews, the website will also offer site visitors opportunities to win exciting prizes in competitions, download screensavers and wallpapers featuring Bridgestone teams and read all about Bridgestone’s history in motorsport.

Director of Bridgestone Motorsport, Hiroshi Yasukawa, said:
“2006 marks an important point in Bridgestone’s motorsport history. It is thirty years since we established our motorsport department in 1976 and we are this year celebrating our tenth season as an official supplier to teams in the FIA Formula One World Championship. Bridgestone’s new motorsport website is a reflection of this commitment to motorsport worldwide and is intended to demonstrate the passion and dedication that Bridgestone puts into its racing activities. We hope the general public will enjoy visiting the new site.”
