Adding Value…Harvie Style

Date: 9th January 2006 Author: Tyrepress Editors Comments: 0

The Harvie name has been associated with tyre repair materials and wheels service accessories for the past four decades, during which time the company has demonstrated rapid response to continuous tyre and rim change processes and the ensuing demands for high quality, technically efficient products plus customer service support within the UK market.

Managing director, Terry Brooks, points out that the company has experienced a 35 per cent sales revenue growth during 2005 along with a high degree of customer satisfaction. The company now presents a product portfolio backed by impressive service levels to both existing loyal customers and prospective customers alike.

Terry adds: “We shall continue to adopt an aggressive growth strategy in all market sectors during 2006 with particular emphasis towards continuous self critique in order to improve even further in levels of ultimate customer satisfaction.”

In October 2004, Harvie successfully secured the exclusive agency for the UK market of the Premacare branded range of tyre repair materials, augmented by a fully comprehensive range of bead lubricants, chemicals, valves and valve hardware, lead free balance weights, air service tools and accessories, buffing mediums, hand tools and safety products. The Premacare programme is designed to take care of tyre repair and wheel service supply requirements and is an impressive programme that permits the tyre professional to focus on revenue generating activities and spend less time on product supply management and training.

Prema Products Inc (Prema) was founded in the United States in 2003 in order to serve the global tyre repair industry with state-of-the-art soft gum tyre repair systems following demands for higher quality, leading edge technology in the ‘soft-gum’ market. The result was PremaTack tyre repair system, a complex in-house process which offers exclusive formulations and specifications in Prema Products.

Saving time and money

Manufacturing combines a unique soft, high-tack bonding gum with ultra fast dry vulcanising cement and repairs are completed swifter in both hot and cold cure applications saving both time and money. All products are produced in modern facilities and tested under extreme conditions in both laboratories and in field tests to assure consistent quality of the highest possible standards.

Every product in the Harvie/Premacare line is rigorously tested to exceed all of today’s industry standards in tyre repair and wheel service applications. Therefore costly comebacks and product liability concerns can be effectively minimised. With effective skills development, this means that your Harvie/Premacare professional is certified with training expertise in tyre and wheel service standards.

All Harvie/Premacare vehicles carry a comprehensive inventory of day to day products that are likely to be needed, virtually eliminating both back orders and the need to overstock, plus every order is checked by your approved staff member to ensure accuracy prior to being stocked on shelves.
