According to Group Tyre, Maxxis is fast becoming one of the most highly regarded ‘premium budget’ brands in the UK. Chairman, John Church, commented on the development: “In the last two years, we have invested major resources in developing the Maxxis brand in the passenger car, 4 X 4 and light truck sectors, promoting its quality and value-per-mile attributes, which have clearly resonated with trade and retail customers alike. These initiatives have assisted in creating a firm foundation of distribution outlets, for the brand in the UK, and we can confirm that the initiatives will continue, as we look forward to further developing the Maxxis brand.”

The group’s relationship with the brand has, in Mr Church’s eyes, not faltered since the foundation of Maxxis UK. “Maxxis has committed to the long term growth in the UK market by establishing a UK company to support its UK growth. This will provide greater support to both Group Tyre’s activities in the passenger car, 4 X 4 and light truck sectors and Maxxis UK’s plans to expand the other market sectors including ATV, heavy truck and motorcycle tyres.”

Warren Lin, director of Maxxis International UK, agrees, “Maxxis is experiencing consistent year-on-year growth, through the strategic alliance with Group Tyre and we welcome their continuing and wholehearted commitment to the brand. The unique and expansive geographical positioning, of the Group Tyre network of wholesale distribution points, that stretches the length and breadth of the UK, ensures that we will continue to strengthen the Maxxis brand.”
