UK Equipment Ltd New Area Sales Manager

UK Equipment Ltd has appointed David Speirs as area sales manager for Scotland and Northern Ireland.
In this role Mr Speirs will be responsible for strengthening the company’s existing distributor base, whilst growing the brand through its OEM business and corporate dealers throughout the region.

Based near Kilmarnock, Mr Speirs has worked in the Automotive industry for 28 years, previously working at McConechys Tyre Service, and in recent years as an area development manager for the Unipart Group.

“David’s appointment is an important part of our focus of having quality people in all area’s” said Chris Pleass, national sales manager. One of our unique strengths is that we design, manufacture and service all of our products within our company. Enhancing our sales team in Scotland will allow us to provide the strongest offering to garage equipment customers in the UK”.

UK Equipment, part of the Snap-on Corporation, supplies automotive workshop equipment products through its Hofmann and John Bean brands.
