Goodyear Dunlop Tyres UK has announced that it has appointed the RLA Group as its trade marketing agency. The agency will be responsible for developing and coordinating a trade marketing programme covering all group activities. RLA will represent the Goodyear, Dunlop and Fulda tyre brands and the Hi-Q retail vehicle and tyre service network.

Neil Burrows, marketing director is confident that the programme will offer great benefits to Goodyear Dunlop’s trade partners, such as tyre dealers, wholesalers, vehicle main agents and fleet and leasing companies: “Goodyear Dunlop already have well established channels to market. Now we are embarking on a programme to reinforce our trade offering by positioning ourselves as a total business partner to the trade. Goodyear Dunlop have a need to maximise the power of our brands in business to business markets.”

RLA Group, based in Bournemouth and Belfast, has experience in the motor industry with clients such as Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles and Audi UK. The agency, and trade programme, will be managed by Ron Pike, marketing communications manager.
