Bridgestone Motorsport Gets Set to Go!

After a successful race in the Canadian Grand Prix, Bridgestone’s Motorsport teams are set to compete in the FIA Formula One World Championship.

The teams have made their way to Indianapolis, USA for round nine of the championship this Sunday.

Bridgestone has flown 1,400 Potenza Formula One tyres form its Tokyo production facility for its four teams to compete in the Indianapolis Grand Prix.

The tyres comprise of four different dry weather specifications, one wet weather and one extreme weather specification; all to suit the famous Indy 500 oval with a twisty inside track.

Hiroshi Yasukawa, director of Motorsport, said: “After such a successful race in Canada, I am very much looking forward to this weekend’s race. All our teams now seem to have settled into the season and are beginning to get the most from Bridgestone’s tyres
