4 - 6 March - Tyrexpo Africa, Johannesburg
The third staging of Tyrexpo Africa will take place at the Sandton Convention Centre, Johannesburg on 4, 5 and 6 March 2010. “Tyrexpo Africa has established itself as an important trading event over the past five years and now we are keen to broaden its appeal to participants by staging a top quality industry conference,” explained ECI sales director Rowena Suthers. “At the same time, we do not want to dilute the prime focus on doing business in the exhibition hall, but by striking the right balance we are confident the conference can add to everyone’s experience and value from being at the exhibition.”

13 - 16 April - PneuShow Recaufair, Brazil
The ninth International Tyre Industry Expo, PneuShow is set to take place in São Paulo, Brazil between 13 and 16 April, 2010 at the Expo Center Norte. The event will also include its second international yyre industry convention. Calling itself “the most important show for the tyre industry in South America”, PneuShow Recaufair’s exhibitors will include representatives from the tyre and wheel trades, including special application and industrial products; repair and retreading materials, machinery and moulds; and servicing and recycling equipment and tools. In 2008, the event had 100 exhibitors in a space of 4,500 sqm, with 10,800 visitors.

9 - 11 May - China (Guangrao) International Rubber Tire & Auto Accessory Exhibition
Between May 9 and 11 the China (Guangrao) International Rubber Tire & Auto Accessory Exhibition will be held in Shangdong Province, the heart of Chinese tyre manufacturing. The organisers, the regional government and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, report that around 300 exhibitors and 10,000 visitors are expected to attend the show. The exhibition is to be held at the Guangrao International Expo Center, and 11,000 square metres’ floorspace has been reserved for this purpose.

1 - 4 June - Reifen Messe, Essen
50 years ago, Reifen started out with just 40 exhibitors from 6 european countries, by 2008 it had become the world's leading fair with a record number of 580  exhibitors from 39 countries. The 2010 show is running in the same venue as previously, but the show's organisers are expecting even more the 17,300 visitors from 150 countries that attended last year.

 

 

22 - 24 June - Hillhead 2010, Buxton
The organizers of Hillhead 2010 report that the show is filling up quickly. Almost 90 per cent of stand space is said to be booked by some 300 companies, including most of the major suppliers to the extractive and heavy construction industries. Hillhead 2010 will take place from 22–24 June at its usual venue – Tarmac’s Hillhead Quarry, near Buxton, England.

5 - 7 October - Brityrex 2010, Manchester
Brityrex International 2010 will take place at Manchester Central 5 - 7 October. The UK’s only dedicated tyre, accessory and workshop equipment trade exhibition. this time Brityrex 2010 is placing increased emphasis on workshop equipment, tools and services. Research suggests that tyre retailers and distributors have delayed or postponed making capital purchases during the recession, which is expected to create increased demand for new equipment as market conditions (hopefully) improve in 2010.

 

 

 

 


2011

March

29-31 March - Tyrexpo Asia, Singapore Expo Centre, Singapore
Following a 2009 show that attracted 2,985 visitors and 135 exhibitors, the managing director of organiser ECI International, Paul Farrant, stated: "We have no hesitation in returning to Singapore" with Tyrexpo Asia. The exhibition will indeed return to the Singapore Expo Center, taking place between March 29 and 31, 2011. 25-29 May - Autopromotec, Trade Fair Centre, Bologna, Italy
Autopromotec styles itself as the most specialised international exhibition of automotive equipments and of the aftermarket automotive industry. Its 24th edition will take place in Bologna, Italy (Trade Fair Centre) from 25-29 May, 2011. The show's organisers say that it has registered a continuous increase in the number of foreign exhibitors, who in 2009 came from 47 different countries. The show also reached new records in 2009 with 1,443 exhibitors, 32.4 per cent of whom were non-Italian; and 101,620 visitors, 16,689 of whom came from all corners of the world.

Created by two leading Associations in the automotive sector Autopromotec is a tailored event focused on both visitors and direct exhibitors. Thanks to the show’s hall-by-hall focus, visitors can tailor their visit according to their own specific needs and interests. 5 - 7 July - Tyrexpo India, Chennai
India is set to have its own dedicated tyre and equipment exhibition following confirmation of plans to stage Tyrexpo India in Chennai in July 2011. The exhibition, based in the region that is home to many country’s leading automotive industry players, including Apollo Tyres, Michelin, Dunlop India and MRF, will be based on the successful model already applied by organiser ECI International at its established Tyrexpo Asia, Tyrexpo Africa and Brityrex events.

 Tyrexpo India will take place at the Chennai Trade Centre in Chennai on the 5, 6 and 7 July 2011. The venue is, comments ECI International, one of the country’s most prestigious exhibition centres, playing host to a series of major events including the International Rubber Expo, Indian Industry Expo and Print Expo.
