The Brazilian tyre market is one of the world’s largest and due to its growth has been counted amongst the most important emerging markets, the so-called BRIC countries (Brazil, Russia, India and China), for a number of years now. For the last five years German manufacturer Continental has produced tyres in Brazil and during this time – despite long-established and powerful competition – has built up a solid business there.
