Al Dobowi Group- one of the World’s leading tyre and battery distributors is looking for a General Manager – Sales and Marketing for its European division based anywhere in W. Europe
The position will report directly to the Executive Director and the candidate should be between 45 and 50 years of age with a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree whilst, a Postgraduate education would be preferred.
The candidate has to have worked for at least 15 years in the tyre industry and achieved a senior position. Experience in a Pan-European role would be preferred.
The candidate should also have a proven track record of: • Managing sales teams and having sales personnel report directly to him. The candidate will be expected to manage a team based in the UK. • Preparing, negotiating and delivering budgets and effective monthly reporting. • Planning, marketing and brand building activities including, managing various external agencies to deliver an efficient marketing plan. • Candidate will have to manage the growth of the Infinity and Westlake brands. • Managing suppliers and negotiating with them to achieve the best possible results in terms of price and delivery.
