Magna Tyres: 18 months and counting at German mine

The Magna MA08 is designed for use on wheel loaders, dozers, and graders requiring maximum traction

18 months ago one of Magna Tyres’ customers operating in a quartzite deposit in Germany started working with 26.5 R25 Magna MA08. More than a year and a half later, the tyres are still said to be “in excellent shape”, despite the tough working conditions in which they were deployed.

The tyre has proven to be very well protected against cuts and abrasion, durable and delivered a low cost per hour. Additionally, the operator of the wheel loader complimented the driving performance to be very comfortable.

The Magna MA08 is designed for use on wheel loaders, dozers, and graders requiring maximum traction. The optimized square-shouldered design is said to offer stability and protection from cuts. The aggressive L5 open tread pattern provides grip and traction, while the all-steel radial construction improved protector plies, optimize load performance and operator comfort and the new improved technology of the high-tech casing reduces heat build-up inside the tyre.
