Cataclean sponsors DRM in 2017 Renault Clio Cup

Cataclean has become the main sponsor of Daniel Rowbottom’s DRM team in the 2017 Renault UK Clio Cup series. Cataclean’s corporate development director Graham Fraser explained: “The Clio Cup gets such fantastic exposure running alongside the British Touring Car Championship that it makes it a great opportunity for us to get in front of a new audience and promote our product. We’re looking forward to sharing the Clio Cup grid and supporting Daniel in his racing journey.”

The UK-manufactured premium engine and fuel system detoxification technology is designed to dissolve resin, gum, carbon and other similar deposits which build up in the fuel system and catalytic converter. Cataclean is sold in the UK as well as being exported to over 15 countries around the world. Hong Kong and Macau have recently become the latest importers of the product in an effort to help tackle the issues of poor air quality in the cities.

Numerous independent tests have verified that Cataclean not only reduces exhaust emissions, often by enough to make the difference between a vehicle failing or passing an MOT, but it can also improve fuel consumption and increase vehicle performance. As well as being available through most major motor factors and online via Amazon and Halfords, Cataclean is also carried by all 1,400 RAC patrol vehicles.

Will Fewkes, Renault Sport’s UK motorsport championship manager, said: “It’s great to see Daniel back with us in 2017 and also have him bringing a global automotive brand such as Cataclean to the grid.”

All 18 races in the 2017 Renault UK Clio Cup will take place at the British Touring Car Championship’s high profile events meaning huge trackside crowds (38,000-plus on average in 2016) and live free-to-air television coverage on ITV4 for its teams, drivers and sponsors.
