TIA names new marketing & communications director

The Tire Industry Association (TIA) has appointed LeAnn Harley its new director of marketing and communications. In this role, Harley will lead strategic communications initiatives in the areas of membership outreach, public relations, event and programme awareness, social media engagement, along with a focus on the US-based association’s overall online presence.

Harley brings more than ten years of marketing and communications experience to the TIA, in both the non-profit and for-profit industries. The association comments that she has developed key communications strategies throughout her career, including online campaign management that has increased programme membership and engagement, public relations outreach that has secured key media coverage, and marketing initiatives to increase brand awareness.

“I am excited to join the Tire Industry Association, especially with its great reputation of making safety and education a main concern for all,” says Harley. “I look forward to working with the team while developing creative messaging to increase awareness and involvement.”

“We are eager to have LeAnn bring her marketing expertise to the TIA team,” adds TIA executive vice-president Roy Littlefield. “With her innovative and creative approach to communications, we are sure she will become a great asset to the team.”
