IAAF to highlight industry threats at The CV Show

The Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation (IAAF) will be taking its key messages surrounding the Commercial Vehicle (CV) sector to industry personnel at the CV Show in April.

IAAF has welcomed many of the recent amendments approved by the European Parliament’s Internal Market and Consumer Protection committee (IMCO) as part of the forthcoming type approval legislation, and the federation will be available to provide more details about the current situation and what it means for the sector.

IAAF has led the fight against the initial proposals, arguing that a level playing field should be provided to ensure consumer freedom of choice when repairing and maintaining vehicles.

Wendy Williamson, IAAF chief executive, said: “The CV Show offers the perfect platform to engage with operators and raise awareness to the major changes affecting the industry and other key technical developments. We look forward to meeting with existing and potential members and encourage them to the stand to find out about our latest activity and our plans to combat”.
