Davanti: DX740 offers SUV and 4×4 versatility

The Davanti DX740 was tested at IDIADA last year

The Davanti Tyres DX740 has been designed to offer the ever-growing SUV and 4×4 tyre sector increased versatility, according to the company.

The Davanti DX740 pattern is produced at “an acclaimed manufacturing facility and incorporates advanced Industry 4.0 tyre building technologies and a special silica compound with an innovative design that ensures excellent levels of grip, driving control and overall comfort”.

Davanti’s claims about the DX740 are supported by a series of results in various testing sessions including comparative testing at IDIADA in April 2016. These tests confirmed the DX740’s all-round high performance throughout a whole range of magazine test criteria. The DX740 also features impressive EU labelling ratings with scores of B average in wet grip, Fuel efficiency above C and an average noise rating of 70dB.

According to the company, these wet grip results and the DX740 performance can be directly attributed to the tyre’s optimal water displacement from four longitudinal grooves in the substantial tread blocks. The outer block section also contains U shaped grooves which work to both contain noise dissipation and provide grip in muddy conditions.

Sean Maddocks, Davanti sales director to the UK and Ireland commented: “We invest heavily in the research and development of all our tyre patterns. The DX740 is the latest tyre in our range and we’re all incredibly pleased with the results it has achieved in independent comparative testing. The DX740 beat some well established brands and the initial reviews we’ve had from customers back up our claims about the tyres performance.”
