ATS Euromaster renews Safecontractor for eighth straight year

ATS Euromaster has renewed its SafeContractor accreditation for the eighth year running. In addition to SafeContractor, ATS Euromasters has also held the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Gold Award since 2014 and is the the only tyre and vehicle maintenance provider to do so.

ATS Euromaster has renewal its SafeContractor accreditation for the eighth year running. The accreditation, first awarded to ATS Euromaster in 2009, means the tyre and vehicle maintenance specialist can instantly comply with the health and safety requirements of many clients, simplifying the procurement process for potential customers.

As ATS Euromaster operates a fleet of more than 820 mobile service vans, SafeContractor is designed to offer peace of mind to customers that a technician attending their site is fully compliant with the highest levels of health and safety.

The company secured the renewal after passing one of the most rigorous vetting processes in the industry, which looks at accident records, health and safety procedures and risk assessments, as well as demanding a demonstration of continuous improvement.

Paul Millward, Health, Safety, Environment and Technical Training Manager at ATS Euromaster, said: “SafeContractor is an established industry benchmark, and the renewal of our accreditation means it’s easy for potential clients to verify and trust in our exceptional track record in health and safety.

“Tyre and vehicle maintenance can be one of the most dangerous sectors in the UK industry – but we’re committed to ensuring that ATS Euromaster is one of the country’s safest places in which to work.”

In addition to SafeContractor, ATS Euromasters has also held the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Gold Award since 2014 – the only tyre and vehicle maintenance provider to do so – and has been an accredited member of the Contractors Health and Safety Scheme (CHAS) since 2010. ATS Euromaster was the first national tyre specialist to achieve all three accreditations.
