Fuchs celebrates 10-year relationship with Clarke Oil

A Stoke-based lubricant manufacturer is celebrating a successful 10-year working relationship with a fellow Midlands business. Fuchs Lubricants, based in Hanley, has enjoyed a decade of trading with Studley lubricant distributor Clarke Oil.

The relationship started at a modest level but has grown significantly and Clarke Oil is now a key distributor for Fuchs, the world’s largest independent lubricant manufacturer.

Today Clarke Oil sells many different products within Fuchs’ automotive and industrial ranges, as well as lubricants and greases for commercial workshops, automotive workshops and agricultural machines.

Alan Campbell, Area Sales Manager for Fuchs, said: “Fuchs Lubricants have been proud to support Clarke Oil since they started trading back in 2007. From a small beginning, Paul Clarke’s invaluable knowledge and determination has enabled Clarke Oil to grow into a leading distributor in the West Midlands.

“Their commitment to excellent customer service, along with offering quality products, has allowed Clarke Oil to offer a valuable service to their growing client base. Distributors are a crucial part of our business model. We look forward to the next 10 years of working together to enhance the customer offer.”

Paul Clarke had worked within the lubricants industry for more than 13 years before setting up Clarke Oil alongside his wife, Emily.
