A restructuring of the marketing team for Bridgestone Europe’s Central Region was implemented at the start of this year, and this has been accompanied by three new appointments. Julia Krönlein is now head of marketing for the region and takes on responsibility for all marketing activities and product management for the consumer business in the German, Austrian and Swiss markets. Long-time Bridgestone employee Stefan Lamp has been appointed product marketing manager for the consumer business, while Christian Blazekovic has been named head of brand and communication for the consumer and commercial business.

“With Julia Krönlein we are pleased to have gained an experienced leader who will particularly enhance the collaboration between the individual departments within her team,” comments Niegsch, managing director of Bridgestone’s Central Region. Immediately prior to joining Bridgestone, Krönlein was employed as brand and marketing manager at Stanley Black & Decker Deutschland GmbH, however before her time there she gained tyre industry experienced in the employ of Goodyear Dunlop.

Stefan Lamp became product marketing manager in September 2016, and has served in leadership positions at Bridgestone for more than 17 years. He is responsible for strategic and technical product management as well as the tyre maker’s go-to-market strategy. Further key tasks are market observation and demand analysis, as well as quality management and monitoring. Lamp is also responsible for coordinating the technical customer service team. He reports directly to Christophe Poméon, director of Commercial Products for Bridgestone’s Central Region.

As of 1 January, Christian Blazekovic has taken on the role of head of brand and communication within Krönlein’s team, and in this position draws upon his experience in both the manufacturing and trade sides of the tyre business. Before beginning in his new position, Blazekovic was head of marketing at First Stop Reifen Auto Service GmbH, and he will continue to serve in this capacity until the business’s integration within Pneuhage Partners Group GmbH & Co. KG is finalised. Between 200 and 2013, he held various positions at Bridgestone, including in the advertising, sales promotion and product management departments. He will now support Krönlein in the areas of brand, trade, event and online marketing, as well as in public relations.
