Reifen China, which is described as “the trade fair for the Asian tyre market” is ready to run from 1 to 3 December 2016. The show is being held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre in the Pudong area of the city.

Reifen China, which is organised by China United Rubber Corporation and Messe Essen will present wheels, tyres, repair material, valves, garage equipment and accessories amongst other products.

RubberTech China, which focuses on the stage before tyre production, will take place in parallel to Reifen China at the same location. This trade fair will gather over 600 exhibitors from 14 countries. The range on offer will encompass, for example, installations and machines from Cimcorp, Comerio Ercole, H F, Mitsubishi, Troester and VMI. Lanxess, one leading special chemistry conglomerates will also participate in RubberTech China.

Accompanying Reifen China and RubberTech China, the RubberTech Forum and the Tire Industry 4.0 Intelligent Manufacturing Forum will open with representatives of leading industrial companies.

China remains one of the most fast-growing markets in the world, especially when it comes to the automotive sector. The dynamically rising demand for high-quality cars offers numerous possibilities to the rubber and tyre sectors. Reifen China aims to make “optimum use of this platform in order to place itself and its exhibitors on the Asian market”.

According to the German Association of the Automotive Industry, around 20 million cars have been newly registered in China in the past year. Thus, the country is ranked first in the statistics ahead of the USA, Japan, Germany, India, Brazil and Russia.
