Tructyre takes on Jempson’s contract

Steve Shingleton, general manager of Strategic Sales for Tructyre, has announced that the company became sole provider to Rye based John Jempson & Son in July 2016.

Jempson’s are one of the largest transport enterprises in the South East with a combined fleet of over 85 commercial vehicles and 160 trailers. Currently celebrating their 150th anniversary, they remain an independent family run business.

Mark Chamberlain, managing director said: “We were in the market for a tyre service provider who could deliver high levels of service. Tructyre came highly recommended from other Transport Association members, and after trialling them for 6 months, their service-levels exceeded our expectations. We particularly appreciate their proactive tyre monitoring service. A problem spotted today really does save next weeks’ breakdown – keeping our fleet operational is critical”.

Tructyre employs over 110 technicians and runs service vehicles, operating from 25 depots throughout the southern half of England.
