The increasing growth in tyre sales through consumer-facing websites has led CAM to enhance its Online Tyre Catalogue (OTS), available from November, to support the ongoing opportunity for dealers to develop their online business.
With more retailers selling through websites, end consumers are looking for further information to assist with their purchasing decisions. As a result, CAM has invested in its Business Intelligence asset with a team of people gathering data to determine key trends, which will enable dealers to maximise their sales opportunities. These patterns in behaviour contain (where available) product descriptions, key features and benefits, video links and imagery.
CAM’s OTC is the largest of its kind, containing full tyre data from nearly 350 manufacturers and a total of more than 200,000 individual articles. This information is accessible through several of CAM’s software modules.
Through the utilisation of CAM’s Midas B2C web-based API tool, its customers can create a bespoke e-commerce website allowing direct interaction with their Cameo system to display the OTC data on their websites.
