Valeo introduces web-based Techassist tool

Valeo has launched its web-based Techasist tool

Valeo Service UK has launched Techassist, a web based tool offering customers both a technical database to assist with Valeo products and a learning platform featuring a forum of useful information.

The website has been specifically developed by the leading parts supplier for repair workshops, automotive spare parts distributors and technical trainers.

It currently covers passenger cars and all Valeo product lines, and users can benefit from its flexibility as it is available at any time in 10 languages.

Users can benefit from Techassist’s four main categories: Documentation, containing product specific documents such as Valeo’s technical descriptions, fitting instructions and fitting videos, and technical bulletins for solving specific repair problems; Training and e-learning as Valeo Service offers online training on clutches, air-conditioning, starters and alternators, as well as troubleshooting modules for all product lines; Workshop Tools, including the new ClimFillⓇ station range; and, Assistance, featuring frequently asked questions and helpful contacts.

For ease of navigation, information within the application is categorised into three sections: types of information such as documentation, workshop tools, training and assistance; vehicle including car make, model, generation and engine type; and finally, product such as Valeo Service product line, sub-category and product family.

Access to Valeo Techassist is provided to workshops and distributors in several European countries, including the UK, Spain, Portugal, France and Germany.

In order to access the facility, users need to connect to www.valeo-techassist.com and click on “Create Account” on the homepage.
