AlloyGator offers branded apparel

AlloyGator is offering branded apparel to workshops ordering multiple sets of award-winning wheel protectors. The move comes as AlloyGator is seeking to further strengthen its network of fitting centres and trade partners around the UK.

Available until October, a shell fleece will be provided to those making bulk orders of 15 sets or more; a branded polo shirt will be given to those ordering 10-14 sets while anyone ordering six to nine sets will receive a complimentary AlloyGator t-shirt.

Launched in 2007 to offer drivers a solution to help keep their prized alloys in pristine condition, AlloyGator offer service and repair workshops, tyreshops and bodyshops a sizeable additional business opportunity. Workshops in more than 50 countries around the globe now stock and supply the product.

“Becoming an approved AlloyGator fitting centre is a great way to earn extra revenue but also help workshops offer something different from their local competitors,” explains Curt Rathbone, managing director, AlloyGator. “Those workshops making bulk orders of the product can now stand out further and look even more professional with our high-quality branded clothing that helps identify them as the local AlloyGator experts.”

Available in a range of 12 colours, including the new ‘glow in the dark’ option, the protection system sits between the alloy wheel and the tyre to protect from scuffs, scratches and other wheel and tyre damage. Developed in partnership with industry professionals, the system has been tested at MIRA.

While AlloyGators can be fitted by motorists themselves, they provide workshops with the opportunity to generate incremental revenue through the additional labour sales needed to fit the protectors and healthy margins on the product itself.

Workshops fitting just three sets of AlloyGators per week at the company’s recommended retail price of £95.95+VAT, could be set to earn more than £10,000 per year in labour charges alone based on one hour’s labour charge at £70.00 per hour.
