Nexen Tire is increasing its sponsorship of Major League Baseball in the US this year by partnering with a third team. The tyre maker has announced sponsorship of the Pittsburgh Pirates for the 2016 season, and its continued partnership with the Texas Rangers and LA Angels. Its sponsorship of the LA Dodgers and Detroit Tigers concluded at the end of the 2015 season.
Under the respective partnership deals, Nexen Tire advertisements will feature on outfield signage at the home stadiums of the Texas Rangers and Pittsburgh Pirates, providing exposure to both spectators within the stadium and television viewers. In addition, the LA Angels deal provides for LED screen board advertisements during home games.
