Nexen fourth in JD Power OE tyre customer survey

Nexen Tire has ranked 4th out of 12 tyre brands in the passenger car segment of the 2016 JD Power Original Equipment Tire Customer Satisfaction Study, marking a considerable improvement in customer satisfaction from last year.

The study looks at tyre rid, traction, handling, wear and appearance. Company representatives pointed out that Nexen Tire increased 82 points in terms of tyre wear, compared with the 2015 study. According to the report, this factor is what customers consider to be the most important out of all the tyre satisfaction factors, which led to an improvement in customer satisfaction for the company’s products this year.

The 2016 JD Power US Original Equipment Tire Customer Satisfaction Study is based on responses from 31,977 original owners of 2014 or 2015 model-year vehicles from October through December 2015. The study subjects included 12 tyre brands, namely: Bridgestone, Continental, Dunlop, Firestone, Goodyear, Hankook, Kumho, Michelin, Nexen, Pirelli, Toyo, and Yokohama.

“This study’s results showcase the remarkable growth of Nexen Tire,” Nexen Tire in a statement, adding: “Through continuous investments in R&D, Nexen Tire will continue to improve product quality and technology in order to increase global customer satisfaction and become a top global player amongst tyre manufacturers.”
