GSF Car Parts’ retail store upgrade
GSF Car Parts has upgraded its retail store and counter at its Birmingham head office. The company said the upgrade provides improved access to the company’s extensive range of trade-level quality parts and consumables for local motorists. The company said the move was necessitated by growing queues; the new store area is more than twice the size, enabling staff to provide better, faster service to customers.
With TV and light refreshments available, the shop area provides an opportunity for visitors to peruse the growing Sealey and Milwaukee tool ranges in comfort, with space to house the increasing range of consumables.
Amanda O’Reilly head of marketing at GSF said: “The new Birmingham store gives us far more room to showcase new products and the team can handle customer enquiries far more efficiently. The reorganisation behind the ‘shop front’ has significantly speeded up order processing times too and customers have responded enthusiastically.”
GSF Car Parts adds that a “virtual store” of fast-moving stock is now held in racking close to the counter, dramatically reducing pick times and the resulting wait for customers.
