SD-International showing ‘versatile patterns for all market sectors’ at Reifen

The ZTR18 tyre comes complete with a special tread pattern that has unique non-directional ‘twist and turn’ grooves for “highly impressive grip on all types of road surface”

SD-International (SDI) has announced plans to showcase its Pace, Toledo and Zeta private label ranges – which cover the car radial and truck and bus sectors – at this year’s Reifen show in Essen.

At the same SDI will be showcasing new AT and MT 4×4 tyre ranges, which will be available in both the Pace and Zeta variants, while the firm’s multilingual sales team will be revealing advance details of its new Zeta car tyre and SUV tyre ranges. Company representatives report that these have been specially produced for the American and ASEAN markets. Manufacturing of the new lines is set to commence in June of this year.

As far as the UHP market is concerned, SDI will be displaying its Pace PC10 and Zeta ZTR10 patterns, which are said to include “special European pattern design technology” along with an ultra-low profile directional pattern, superior road handling performance, optimum balance capabilities and a high level of wet grip.

The Zeta and Pace lines also present the Alventi UHP range which incorporates an asymmetrical tread pattern, complete with special tyre block stiffness for heavy loads on all types of road surfaces. At the same time, an optimised pitch variance design and tread formula ensures high levels of silica rubber to reduce noise levels and give a high standard of grip and mileage return.

For the highly competitive  4×4 and SUV markets the Azura range from Pace and Zeta has been specially produced for the ‘high end’ off road driving performance market and incorporates a V-shaped, non-directional tread pattern that has enhanced tyre rotation plus a solid centre rib design.

For the van and light commercial tyre sectors, Pace and Zeta both offer the PC18 and ZTR18 tyres complete with a special tread pattern that has unique non-directional ‘twist and turn’ grooves for “highly impressive grip on all types of road surface”.

Finally, Zeta, Pace and Toledo are also available for truck applications. The Zeta truck range consists of the DR902,  DR905, DR9006, DR906 and DR908 patterns plus the Pace truck range includes 10 pattern options covering all TBR and trailer applications. Whilst the Toledo TBR range has a special European tread design with a particular emphasis on low rolling resistance and external noise levels to EU standards.

The firm also opened a warehousing facility in Frankfurt, Germany last year, which serves most of mainland Europe with smaller orders as an alternative to direct orders from China – something else the company would like to communication to current and prospective partners.
