Mitas receives Fendt ‘A’ rating for Mitas Premium deliveries

AGCO Corporation’s Fendt brand has granted Mitas an ‘A’ rating for its original equipment supply to the Fendt tractor plant in Marktoberdorf, Germany. The company has delivered Mitas Premium tyres to the factory since January 2015, the new brand serving as a substitute for the Continental agricultural tyres it previously shipped. In giving its rating, AGCO evaluated supplier quality, logistics, customer service and environmental protection – Mitas received the highest grade in all categories.

“For the 11th consecutive year, Mitas received an overall ‘A’ rating for deliveries of farm tyres to Fendt, but this year’s award means something more for us. It symbolises the success of the Mitas Premium launch, and it is a proof point of the excellent quality of Mitas Premium tyres,” said Andrew Mabin, sales and marketing director at Mitas.

“We had an exceptional year with AGCO. In addition to the highest four A’s supplier rating from Fendt, we were named by AGCO as its Supplier of the Year 2015 in the category of engineering and innovation,” added Jens Steinhardt, Mitas’ key account manager for AGCO.

Mitas Premium tyres are standard fitment on four of seven Fendt’s model series, including on the Fendt 900-930 Vario.
