KRT to distribute Maxam Agrixtra range

Maxam Tire International Limited (Maxam) has confirmed that Kings Road Tyres (KRT) will be its UK and Ireland distributor for Maxam agricultural, industrial and construction tyres.

Based in West London, and with several distribution centres throughout the UK and a specific facility serving Ireland, KRT have established a successful partnership with Maxam over recent years. Adrian Bader, managing director, KRT, commented: “We are delighted and very enthused to refocus our partnership with MAXAM, particularly with the very exciting development and introduction of their Agrixtra agricultural tyre range.  This additional to our brand portfolio in this vibrant replacement market is perceived at KRT as a great enhancement for our dealer network.”

Recently relocated to Birmingham, Maxam’s corporate philosophy is that customer satisfaction is key and this is said to drive “innovation, productivity and ultimate profitability”.

The Maxam industrial range covers solid, pneumatic and press-on band solid tyres – totalling nine different patterns, with an addition to the range coming later this year – the Industrial Port orientated Portxtra (in 14 sizes).

The Maxam Construction tyre range covers most common applications and uses – both bias and radial – including backhoe, grader, skid steer, wheeled excavator and MPT.

The new Agrixtra range is underpinned by the MS951R, which is currently available in 20 sizes in the 85 series range, with the 70 series range recently released in 10 sizes and 8 sizes in the 65 series range due for release imminently.

Martin West, managing director, Maxam, commented: “KRT are a quality specialist tyre distributor and we are delighted that not only will they continue to represent Maxam tyres in the UK and Ireland for the Industrial and Construction segments, but they are very well-positioned to drive forward our new Agrixtra agricultural tyre range. We have invested heavily in the research, development, engineering and design of the Agrixtra range – giving great results and benefits for soil protection, traction, durability and lifetime performance and comfort…”

West added: “We are preparing for the imminent launch of the new Maxam Radial Floatation tyre – Flotxtra MS961 – which will be widely available during 2016 – available in 12 sizes.”
