Camso says its new plant is equipped with best-in-class manufacturing technology

With its new solid tyre plant in Vietnam’s Bình Dương Province, Camso says it aims to “gain leadership position in the Asian material handling market.” The off-road tyre and track specialist completed the 23,000 square metre plant in the town of Tân Uyên within 14 months and views the site as “an ideal location” for further diversifying Camso’s manufacturing operations and improving the company’s competitiveness. The manufacturer adds that the plant is equipped with “best-in-class manufacturing technology.”

As the world’s fifth largest producer of natural rubber, Vietnam offers access to raw materials, competitive labour and a favourable industrial and economic environment for Camso to conduct its operations. “This new facility is a commitment to being the best partner for our OEM and Aftermarket customers of the Asian market, and an investment to grow our leadership position in the material handling sector,” comments Jean-François Ferland, vice-president and general manager of Material Handling at Camso.

According to Camso, the new facility completes the company’s manufacturing footprint; it also operates facilities in Argentina, Brazil, Canada, China, Hungary, Italy, South Korea, Sri Lanka and the USA. Camso offers products for all forklift niches and claims to have the most complete product portfolio in the market.
