PACT renews agreement with Groupauto

PACT, the electronic trading initiative, has renewed its agreement with Groupauto’s G-Net electronic trading solution for a further four years, enabling approved suppliers and Group Auto Members to trade and communicate more effectively.

PACT automates procedures, such as stock enquiries and ordering and the exchange of order acknowledgements, dispatch notes and invoices, all of which are proven to significantly improve internal processes for a motor factor and also help eradicate the supply of incorrect parts as the opportunity for human error is all but removed.

As a part of the G-Net initiative, Groupauto members not only have the ability to connect and trade electronically with approved suppliers but also the group’s G-Logix central warehouse, bringing about real efficiencies throughout the automotive supply chain.

Mark Rudge of PACT said: “We’re delighted to have renewed our agreement with Groupauto. Motor factor members and suppliers continue to utilise the technology available to build partnerships and trade efficiently. By bringing automated transactions to the trading process, the risk of human error is minimised and enables the members to focus on growing sales with garages.”

Steve Richardson, Groupauto UK & Ireland managing director, said: “Groupauto. continues to invest in the reliable and efficient service PACT electronic trading provides. PACT ensures members purchase products from approved suppliers in an accurate and efficient manner, reducing internal operational costs. This allows motor factors and suppliers to focus on protecting and growing their customer base.”

PACT can connect single or multi-branch motor factor operations using any business system to the UK’s leading component suppliers.
