Juventus F.C. players appear in second Goodyear video

Players from Italian Serie A team Juventus F.C. have worked with sponsorship partner Goodyear to produce a short video that draws parallels between safety on the football pitch and on the road. Four Juventus team members, Anderson Hernanes, Sami Khedira, Norberto Murara Neto and Stefano Sturaro, worked with the tyre maker on the project.

The video is titled ‘Juventus & Goodyear: Champions in safety’ and was filmed on location at the Juventus Training Center. It draws on the Goodyear ‘Made to Feel Good’ tagline with a humorous and upbeat tone, while drawing on the aforementioned safety analogy.

“We are proud to partner again with a prestigious club like Juventus to highlight the core elements of our products. Safety has always been a fundamental topic for Goodyear as outlined in the film with Juventus champions,” said Matteo Castelli, marketing consumer director at Goodyear Dunlop in Italy.

The partnership between Goodyear and Juventus began in late 2011 and also entails advertising channels such as pitch-side LED boards, logos on podium backdrops and co-operation between the two companies’ digital and social platforms. Last year, Goodyear and Juventus released a video titled ‘Take the road with the right shoes’, which drew the connection between the importance of the right footwear and the right tyres.
