Fryer appointed TRW Aftermarket’s global parts & service VP

Car parts manufacturer TRW Aftermarket has appointed Neil Fryer its new vice-president, global parts and service. Fryer, who has been part of the senior management team at TRW since joining the company as director of marketing and engineering, Parts and Service in June 2014, begins in this position on 1 October.

Peter Holdmann, executive vice-president of ZF TRW, stated: “Neil has a wealth of industry experience and a strong track record of delivering excellent business results. He is the right person to continue the success story of TRW’s aftermarket activities.”

Fryer holds an MBA from the University of Warwick, UK, and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of London, UK. Before joining TRW, he worked in Italy at automotive aftermarket focused consultancy, Management3, where he was co-founder and managing partner. Prior to this he was vice-president of parts and service at Fiat Group Automobiles. Earlier in his career, Fryer spent nine years with LucasVarity in business development and commercial roles prior to assuming the position of general manager, sales and distribution Europe with TRW.

The new vice-president of global parts and service will be based at the TRW Aftermarket global headquarters in Neuwied, Germany. Reporting to Peter Holdmann, he will be responsible for TRW´s Automotive Aftermarket activities in Asia-Pacific, EMEA and North America.
