Change of date for ETRA seminar

A change of date has been announced for the ‘Flex in the City’ seminar jointly organised by the European Tyre Recycling Association (ETRA) and two Italian organisations, ANTEL (the Italian National Association of Local Authority Technicians), and ARGO (the Italian Recyclers Association). Due to “circumstances beyond ETRA’s control,” the seminar will now take place in Treviso, Italy on 22 October rather than 23 October.

The seminar is designed to illustrate the many uses of recycled tyre rubber in road and urban furniture applications, highlighting the flexibility of use and the high performance of the materials. Topics will include the uses of rubberised asphalt and reinforced concrete, and the impacts of these materials in the reduction of road and rail vibration as well as noise insulation.

Sessions will be presented in both English and Italian.
