Frank Delesen to head Pirelli’s operation in Germany

Frank Delesen succeeds Daniele Deambrogio, who will take on a new role within Pirelli

As of 17 July, Frank J. Delesen will replace Daniele Deambrogio as CEO of Pirelli’s German operation and as chairman of the management board at Pirelli Deutschland GmbH. Deambrogio, previously country manager for Germany and commercial director responsible for the Central European market, was officially named to these roles last December as part of a push to more closely integrate Pirelli’s German business into the company. The tyre maker now states that “following the successful implementation of the concept to more strongly integrate Pirelli Deutschland GmbH into the overall group,” Deambrogio will “take over a new role within the company.”

Frank J. Delesen has worked in a number of management roles within various industries, including a six-year stint at Bosch Security Systems and almost three years at GE Energy. Prior to joining Pirelli, Delesen was executive vice-president in charge of the Americas region at Rittal GmbH & Co. KG, a leading systems provider for enclosures, power distribution, climate control, IT infrastructure and software & services.
