Blackboots gets orange makeover

Blackboots is one of the latest tyre specialists to get a Maxxis makeover. Having achieved outstanding sales of Maxxis since joining the Maxxis Centre of Excellence Programme in 2012, Maxxis has given the business a new look and redesigned and revamped everything from its external signage to the reception area.

Blackboots was one of the first fitting centres to enrol onto the Maxxis Centre of Excellence Programme and has been benefitting from the on-going support offered by the initiative ever since, as owner Jason Saunders confirmed: “The decision to become a Maxxis Centre of Excellence was an easy one for us. The team have worked with the brand for over three years and everyone really likes the products and services. Plus we find it extremely easy to sell based on performance at a time when people are trying to keep as much of their money in their pockets as possible. The pull of premium tyres goes down when customers become more interested in price than the name on the sidewall, and it seems like we’re in a period where more people are thinking more about affordable high performance than instant recognition of brand.”

“Maxxis gives us a great option at the high performance end of the mid-range, with all sizes catered for by the fittings available from Stapletons. Not only do they offer a very well-priced product with levels of quality and performance comparable to those of the premium brands, but the lifetime guarantee goes to show how good the tyres really are. We have only had good feedback on any of the Maxxis tyres we have sold, so having the distinctive orange colour scheme everywhere is something we’re all very happy with.”

“The support that we get from both Maxxis and Stapletons is great. Having the facility to feature our details on Maxxis’ website and download Maxxis marketing materials, images and logos through the new Maxxis Stockist Centre portal is also a useful tool as it means I can continue pushing the brand ore to help strengthen our partnership further.”
